PETER CORSER

When I retired full time, I wanted to get started on photography, having only ever been a 'Happy Snapper'.

I was given a 6-hour photography tutorial as a birthday gift, and on completion, was advised to join a camera club. So I joined Bolton Camera Club in 2018 and quickly made friends. They inspired and mentored me through my journey as a complete novice. Club members continue to encourage and assist me to develop as a photographer.

I don't really follow any genre, however, I try to have a go at anything which grabs my interest. I particularly enjoy going to the coast for long exposure images.

At the club, I assist on open evenings where possible, helping with Light Painting and Macro. I have joined the Selection Committee and am currently the Membership Secretary.
