MARGARET EDWARDS
For as long as I can remember I have been interested in photography and have enjoyed taking photographs. As I travel around I see things that interest me or that I find beautiful and I want to try to capture these moments in my photography. I particularly enjoy taking photographs of wildlife, trees throughout the year and misty landscapes. For me, photography has never been primarily an intellectual pursuit or an analytical undertaking but rather an intuitive process. I don’t profess to have highly developed technical expertise in terms of photography and my post processing is fairly minimal. My photography is more about capturing beautiful or interesting things and sharing my interpretation of them - as well as making me smile. I’m not hugely concerned about the thoughts of camera club judges and others, though these can be interesting and helpful at times. As a photographer, what matters most about my images is my opinion and if I like something then I like it.
