At the Club meeting held on 4th February 2010, Club Member Rob Wigley was selected to receive the David Farrell Trophy for the best image taken on a Club day out during 2009.
Norman Thompson DPAGB LBIPP, President of the Lancashire and Cheshire Photographic Union, selected the winning image from a strong entry.
Rob's entry, entitled 'Glory', is seen above, and was taken during a visit to Bolton Parish Church. Norman (standing on the left) is also seen congratulating Rob.
A formal presentation of the trophy took place on 25th February 2010.
