Days out (and the annual weekend away) at Bolton Camera Club are an important part of our actvities. Not only do they provide members with an excellent opportunity to practice the art of taking photographs (although sometimes the weather doesn't play it's part!), they also provide a superb opportunity for members old and new to enjoy each other's company, make new friends and learn from each other.
Each year, one meeting night is dedicated to a print and projected image competition solely for shots taken during club outings - the importance of which is reflected by the awarding of the David Farrell Trophy for the best shot taken on a day out.
