Monthly Competition Results

The Bolton Camera Club meets weekly throughout most of the year and gives a very warm welcome to visitors and new members. We have been sharing a passion for photography since 1884 and are more than happy to share with you, whether your interest is in film or digital, audio visual or more technical aspects of photography.

Our latest Projected Digital Image competition took place on Thursday 21st July with a total of 78 images being presented to guest judge Paul King from the HASSRA Fylde Photographic Society at Thornton Cleveleys.

The Advanced class was won by Brian White with “Himba Tribal Girls,” The Beginners class was won by “Ivory Flame” by Paul Baybut. The subject of the Themed competition this month was Bolton in Black and White and was won by John Durham with “Benjamin Dobson's Bolton.”
