Monthly Competition Results

The Bolton Camera Club meets weekly throughout most of the year and gives a very warm welcome to visitors and new members. We have been sharing a passion for photography since 1884 and are more than happy to share with you, whether your interest is in film or digital, audio visual or more technical aspects of photography. 

The night of Thursday 20 May produced what was possibly the highest standard of projected images presented for a competition at the Club. Guest judge, Neil Pascoe CPAGB, Chairman of HASSRA Fylde Photo Society, had a real challenge to select the ultimate winners.

Awarding the full 20 points to "Jepson's Gate" by Ian Watson, the judge said it was a simple image, a lovely tree, and good composition
