Days Out

The Bolton Camera Club meets weekly throughout most of the year and gives a very warm welcome to visitors and new members. We have been sharing a passion for photography since 1884 and are more than happy to share with you, whether your interest is in film or digital, audio visual or more technical aspects of photography.

On Sunday 10th May a number of the members went to Hoghton Towers near Preston. The event being held there was a sprint event over a distance of 1/8th mile up the main driveway to the house. There were a variety of m/cycles of differing ages and styles also some with sidecars each trying to be the fastest of their class on the day.   Access to the paddock area gave an added opportunity for some alternative images of a speed event and what goes on behind the scenes, along with some good weather it turned out to be a good day out.
